양평로타리클럽 권정래 회장 취임

국제로타리 3600지구 양평로타리클럽이 11일 대명양평콘도에서 엄태유 지구총재를 비롯한 김선교 양평군수, 정병국 국회의원, 각계 기관·단체장 등 400여명이 참석한 가운데 제29대, 제30대 회장 이·취임식을 거행했다.
이날 양평로타리클럽은 취임식에 앞서 지난 1년동안 클럽 발전과 봉사의 중추적 역할을 다한 최병학 이임회장과 회원 12명에 대한 표창과 공로패를 비롯해 양일고 인터랙트 5명에 대한 장학금을 수여했다. 이날 이임한 최병학 회장은“지난 1년간 클럽의 비젼팀에 맞는 시나리오를 구성해 봉사의 질과 품위를 한층 높여 가슴 뿌듯했지만 약속한 모든 부분을 이루지 못한 아쉬움이 미련으로 남는다”며 “아쉬움은 본인의 능력 부족 탓으로 돌리고 취임회장의 탁월한 아이디어와 지도력에 아쉬움과 남은 미련을 기대하겠다”고 말했다.
또한 권정래 취임회장은“지난한해 동안 클럽의 도약과 발전을 위해 노력하고 멋지게 귀향하신 전임 회장과 이임 임원에게 힘찬 감사의 박수를 보낸다”며“오늘 우리는‘로타리를 나눔의 손길로’란 깃발을 뱃전에 우뚝 세우고 출항 뱃고동을 울리는 로타리호에 함께 승선한 만큼 멋진 항해가 되도록 다함께 노력하자”고 말했다.
